On May 31st, 2008, trajedy struck the
family of Darren Steinke (Dazre). A F3 Tornado struck through
Northern Alberta, directly hitting his new house on his
acerage. Darren, his wife Kate, and their 20 month old
daughter, were very lucky to have survived.
Pictures, memories, everything is gone. Darren
and Kate are now living out of a hotel, as they start
their battle with the insurance company. His daughter is still
in the hospital with critical injuries. We pray for her
recovery every day.
Dazre was a huge presense in the mudding community. Many of
you most likely did not know him, but he worked his tail off
creating Malicious Bliss and other great muds. And he loved
his players. He did EVERYTHING for his players. Thats all he
talked about.
My name is Kyle, and I am Darren's brother. This is not a
charity case, this is not something I am doing to line Darrens
paypal account. This is something I am trying to do for Darren
and his family. I am in the process of refinancing my house
to help them out, but I am pleading to the public to
help as well.
